POWER PLACES

God calls the Christian mystic to different power places – each with an unique healing and/or enlightenment outcome. Those that are directed on such pilgrimages are drawn to these energy sites to receive knowledge, wisdom and to spark healing. One destination builds on another and occurs with Divine timing. Experiencing a power place is an invitation to get to know oneself, one’s ancestors and one’s calling.

Vortex – A whirling mass of energy causing a vacuum at the center. Each vortex radiates its own particular energy pattern.

There are two types of vortexes:

  1. Up-flow Vortex – Energy is flowing upward out of the earth. Up-flow vortexes tend to be associated with mountains, mesa tops, and pyramidal-type topography. Examples are The Great Basin National Park (Baker, NV), Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles and the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

  2. In-flow Vortex – Energy is flowing inward toward the earth. They tend to be associated with valleys, canyons, and caves. Examples are Arcadia, CA and Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

Each vortex experience is unique. Generally they boost spiritual skills to reach greater heights of awareness. Also, they hasten the progress of prayer discipline to communicate with God.

Portal – An electric and/or magnetic entrance or gate – a point at which the portal’s energy connects with the energy in the body. Our body has energy centers that power our life force. Portals are aligned to our Solar System. Examples are Stonehenge (west of London)

You can find more details about other power places types in my chapter about Power Places in my book The Life of a Christian Mystic.

Experiencing a power place helps align the body’s energy for enhanced health as well as spiritual and emotional stability.

These destinations represent an adventure and are undertaken with trust in The Divine Plan. These special places are located all over the Planet. They energize and rewire mystics on emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Christian mystics have an inner drive to push themselves to work in concert with the Almighty God who protects and holds these energy places.

Visiting power places is a type and shadow of rebirthing.
